[Tutorial]Sysctl and you, A guide to better preformance and battery life.

It should show up in any file manager, but I don't know because I only use Root Explorer.

yo jboxen i'm home now and my phone lasted the rest of the night so i noticed the battery life =) performance isnt that noticeable i can tell it's a bit more snappy but battery life i can def tell the difference!

If you only do the first part of the post (the settings in liberty toolbox) will you still get the increase without having to reboot your phone daily?

Fyi, i just applied all of the tweaks I could find on the link in the op and my quadrant score went from a steady 1600 for the past two weeks to a 2071. Thanx for posting this thread, I will be copying those files and flashing them to any updates that liberty has. Just hope the battery life improves as well. Only time will tell.

UPDATE... Just ran three more tests and averaged at 2367. This is probably the most beneficial thread I have ever read. Thanx again.

Liberty Toolbox didn't work for me either and I even went to the market to install. I ended up having to go into terminal emulation and editing the files using vi. Had to look up how to use that again! :)

Thanks, Jboxen! Also, really liked the blog you linked in your post.
