Twitter Notifications Help

So here's the deal.

For some time now I have been getting text notifications when one of the people I follow on twitter posts a new tweet.

Recently, however, I have begun to get both a text as well as a twitter notification for each tweet.

Not a huge deal, but very annoying. Does anyone have any idea as to how to get only one notification?

Go into settings for the twitter app and turn one or the other off.....
