how well does this mount work? i'm thinking about getting one for my car. i'm just worried about it staying on the windshield and not falling off. is it safe to use?

I'm not sure yet as I just received it today, but it seems well made.

i went ahead and ordered one. i have never used anything with a suction cup like this. i was just worried about how secure it would be. it seems pretty common for people to hang much heavier GPS units in the same style mount so i would imagine it should work well for the Droid. i guess for $14.99 it's worth a shot. i saw some videos on youtube and it looks like it should be good.

Does teh dock work okay with the seido cases? Is it possible to force your droid in them if you have the ultra thin seido case for on ur phone?
