Well I'll say this much to you two that you certainly have a good number of people who probably want to support you in your mission. Good luck guys. You know I've never ran a custom rom yet in my Droid except for the one Jrummy made when Froyo first came out with it's 2.2 FRG018B build. I was very impressed the Jrummy made a ROM that had the exact same signature as the OTA but was made for rooted phones. It got lost in a bunch of threads but I referred people to it constantly.

So who knows, maybe I'll give this one a try. You got enough answers, pick a name already!
