ADW EX Launcher - Insane amount of redraw, feels like 2.1 again.

this is version 1.2.1 with system persistent checked in adw settings.

I tried it for the first time. I've tried CM7 before. It has a lot of good in it! I would like it better than 2.5, but it is not as polished as 2.5 yet... All my apps restored which is nice, and everything else seems to work.

But on a performance note... I used my own game which shows FPS and I'm only getting 26 FPS in this build where in UD2.5 I get 30. There is still room for improvement!

I don't understand the launcher. It is so basic that I don't like it. I can't even set the app launcher to show 5 apps wide instead of the default 4? This rom is supposed to be the Cadillac, lets get that new launcher in here!

So I have been running 3.0 Beta for awhile now and have been very pleased with its functionality. Coming from oh, every other rom out there, this one seems to be the best one for me.....for today....LOL I installed RC1 and had nothing but force closes after restoring apps and data, and UD extras via UD settings......after spending 45 minutes finding it again.....BTW, I like the long press on search.....I restored Beta and decided I would wait until RC2 came out. well installed RC2 (should mention full wipe with each) and did the same thing, restored via UD settings and BAM FC city again. So being of sound mind, I re wiped, and re installed RC2 but this time, I signed in with google account and let the market restore the apps for me. No FC this time. I dont know if it has been mentioned but if you run into FC after a restore from UD, just do a full wipe and let google restore for you. It takes a bit longer, but I am up and running and happy so far. Well until I want to take a picture that is. LOL

Good job on this build, very impressed.

Just loaded RC2 over RC1 (no wipe). No problems that I can see at all yet (except camera which is known). Accelerometer is working woohoo! Lights. Have to play around with it a lot more today but looking good. Thanks BD!!

Amen. I have been holding off for the accelerometer and the camera. 1 down, 1 to go. LOL.
