Ultimate Notification sounds and more

Tp, I downloaded a couple audio editing programs today. I won't be able to mess with them until tomorrow night or monday night though. I might get a quick chance tonight but my time is being consumed helping my dad with the siding on his house. We shall see, but I am determined to make this work! haha

I typed it exactly the way you are saying but it still gives me the error "could not open localsound device" I'll try to figure it out. Thanks!

Both of my computers give me the same error. Rebel how can I check if text to speech is enabled?

I'm trying to make my own notification sound. I'm on Linux OS.

Oh ok, well I am on a Mac. I actually had to make an app through Automator to record text to speech. I could have bought a program to do the same thing but didn't want to spend the money. I am not familiar with Linux based systems at all. Sorry for the confusion, I wasn't sure what you were trying to do. I am sure Linux has a program to record text to speech somewhere though. I wish I could help you out more but I wouldn't know where to begin. Sorry!
