Unlocked and rooted for battery life

I flashed AOKP b33 on Sunday and woke up to find that I only lost about 8% battery life. The next night I lost about 16% battery life and I even switched it to 3g, turning sync off as well. However I also ran Screen Filter (a dimming app) so maybe that had something to do with ti.

I just flashed Franco's kernel this morning and am hoping to see an even better improvement, we'll see in a couple days though

Any suggestions on these wake locks???

Any suggestions on these wake locks???

Nothing looks terribly out of line there. About 6 hours of mostly idle usage, losing ~10% battery, on 4G. Ideally at idle you should be able to lose ~1% per hour give or take a little. Which really isn't so far off from what you would have there.

Note that when you unplug from charge, even if it says charged, it could be a little under 100%. Once you charge a battery, it stops charging, and discharges a little bit then re-charges again. So if you catch it while it is discharging, you could start off with a few percent short of 100. This is a feature to prolong the life of the battery.

Thanks. Just striving for that perfect battery life lol.

Question.

When I drain it out and re calibrate it should I be charging it with the phone completely off or its ok to just charge it while it's on and being used??

I know that my Nexus gets better better battery life on Sourcery ROM with stock kernal, but I use Franco anyhow. And yes having more than one launcher installed does help to drain battery but not as much as you would think. Definitely turn auto brightness on, and use your sync wifi and 4G toggles accordingly!

I'm running BlackICE rom with franco's nightly. I used to get great battery life, but ever since the 31.31 update to the rom my battery life has been terrible. That's what prompted me to run franco's kernel. Right now I'm on 32.32 of the rom, I'll probably update to the most current this weekend. Here are some screenshots. I'd appreciate any suggestions.
