what if we didnt want the music mod? how would we revert back to the stock music widget without the switchapk function of scriptybox?

Mind I ask why you would want to go back? The musicmod doesn't take anything away, so it's just the music app with more.

But, to get it back, you will have to delete it, and push a stock music app into the phone.

And as a release, cvpcs has just started dropping the irc lately, and afaik hasn't done any work. Who knows though, cvpcs might surprise us all..

I just like the widget better for the stock app. It sounds stupid, but in the 4x1 widget, the play button was to small/to close to the forward & back buttons. With 1.1.1 I could use scriptybox, didnt see a way in 1.1.4. I ended up basically doing what you suggested above.

this was a minor thing. I love this rom, i didnt think upgrading to .4 would make that much of a difference, and maybe its a mental thing, but my phone really runs alot better with the upgrade, so thank you

Well, there are some signs of life on his github, so that's good.

I've never gone this long on a single build. :laugh:
 
Here's my thoughts. CVPCS is not committing any changes right now because too many of us are in there looking to compile the latest change and he doesn't want any ROM leaks before he's ready to release his final version.

I'm thinking we're still going to see a new feature rich release before Thanksgiving just like he told us.

Again, just my thoughts.

If we do get a release, it will be some long nights to get everything that was talked about for the thanksgiving day release. It will either be a smaller release, or just no release at all with the way it seems.

I would rather them wait and get it all in rather than put out a mediocre release just for the sake of putting one out. While I am itching for a new release because of my desire to flash something new, there are other ROMS I can flash for half a day or so just to satisfy it.

Take your time Gem crew!

You and me both. I'm trying to force myself to wait for the the new stuff at the beginning of the year. I badly wanna see what a Tegra 2 phone can do. But, the X is a nice looking phone. sigh. :)
