Hey Guys -
Okay, So i decided to try and root my phone today. I did so successfully it seems, but i decided that i just dont want to mess around with APKs and ROMs anymore. So Im trying to Unroot my phone. I have followed a very good tutorial, but im having a problem. So I ll explain what i did in shortest words possible.
I installed the proper unroot.zip file or whatever. Put it on the root of my SD card. I go into recovery mode, but mine is clockworkmod .. not SPrecovery like the tutorial. So my options are different. But i chose "apply update.zip" and it just ends up saying "assert failed" Error in sd/sdcard/update.zip
(status 7) "installation aborted"
everytime. Please help. I dont know whats wrong.

you may have to enable the update.zip installation via the recovery menu IIRC. I havent used SPR in awhile but I believe thats one of the options. If you have rom manager you can unroot easily via that. If you want to go all out and completely back to stock you could always flash the 2.0.1 SBF via RSD Lite but thats a bit more complex.
