Unsupported media format

Hi just got the droid bionic and trying to stream the videos on my network hdd but says unsupported video format guessing I need to convert the format so what is the best format and program to do that with

Android will only natively play MP4s -- I use Handbrake. Plenty of people here use DVD Catalyst. There are a ton of options, pick your poison.

you might need to get a different movie player on the market. moboplayer worked nicely for me
