unwanted update

I apologize if this has been asked before but...
My droid keeps notifying me to update to 2.2 (froyo) but im already on BB 0.4 which is 2.2. What happens if i just update? or How do i get rid of this notification?! almost every time I unlock my phone it tells me to update, its annoying! :icon_evil: help please

Just let it update. The update will be blocked.

As long as you have either Sprecovery or Clockwork, the update install will be aborted. That is the only way to stop the notifications.

I ran the update and it won't install cuz the custom recovery. Howecer I got the freaking message today to install...

I rooted with easyroot after upgrading to 2.2 with flash downloaded from Google. How will this update affect me. Sorry to hijack your thread but I was getting ready to ask the same question.
