Update not available at this time.

Are you talking about the Bionic? The phone came out September 8th 2011.

I got my Bionic about 3 weeks after it came out. I was looking at my upgrade date and going back 2 years to come up with the purchase date. I guess they don't jive. But that is inconsequential to my overall scenario of a phone that never has had an update, but works perfectly. Should I be concerned, or stick with my "if it aint broke, don't fix it" philosophy, and worry about it when a real update like ICS hits?

Except for an initially slow camera, like you I have not experienced any problems with my Bionic that I bought during the September release. I have updated each time an official update was released (the camera focusing improved with the first update). The updates have not "broke" my otherwise woking Bionic. It is my opinion that if you got a good Bionic, updates are not going to change it for the worse. YMMV.

@aal, I have checked in locations within a 100 mile radius of my house. Always with full 4G signal. Everywhere from Daytona Beach to Gainesville. Still no joy.
