Update: Version: 1.3.380.MB870.Verizon.en.US

Just reiterating some things I've said in previous posts/other forums... don't take this update as a better update. There are tons of bugs in the current version. Battery/charging problems, led problems, 3g turning to 1g in areas where 3g was never a problem, and some problems with lag. I've also been aware of some people have camcorder problems (I haven't used it so idk the truth in it). I wouldn't be surprised to see another update roll out soon. Again, just my .02 and hopefully some people don't experience these problems. Moto and VZW are already aware.

Are you referring to 2.3.3? Cuz that would be the current build for MOST DX2 owners. If you are, I would deff. agree. Have had nothing but problems on this build and cannot stand it anymore. Picture quality sucks. check these out: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/att...6832742240.jpg, http://www.droidforums.net/forum/att...6832826249.jpg. camcorder also sucked. But I guess you can't expect perfection. Also on this 2.3.3 I've noticed how the display is very "pentile" or very pixelated. Have had a couple random reboots and my most biggest problem, (in my opinion) is not being able to have the "Magic smoke live wallpaper" It is always a complete ONE color. (no smoke) So as long as this 2.3.4 fixes some of these problems, I guess I wont mind loosing bugs to gain a few new different ones. Every build is not perfect and that is how it ALWAYS will be. Always guna be somthing bigger, better and greater then the latest builds. So it's cool...just have to learn to humble myself and deal with it. I'm glad to hear your staying on top of these known issues though. Please keep us posted if any other bugs are reported. For 2.3.4 that is. Thanks! :)

The 2.34 update? I saw that it was being released but, I haven't received it yet. They'll get to it sooner or later.

Oh wow...you're only about an hour away from me. I'm litterally like right next to Antioch and Richmond. So hopefully we'll both be receiving the OTA around the same time. Fingers crossed! Waiting isn't too bad, since we get to read others expeirences with the latest build until we get it and decide wether we want it or not. If I hear too much negative I may root. (even though I haven't EVER done this.) It MAY be worth it. We shall see. Keep posted like a street sign! :)

Honestly, I don't think it can get any worse than it already is. And if it does, I will loose all faith in humanity( but at least it will give me an excuse to complain to VZW and see if they switch me to another phone.) Nexus prime????? But hopefully this update works out. I love the DROID line up especially the X series

Almost a week of release on the Verizon site and still no update...may be my time for another swap-out. Really like my girls INC2. Might try that out.....

Who knows maybe they are adding that 3D blur that the DROID 3 has( received it via OTA) and the bionic has it as well. Just a thought as to why it may be a bit delayed (definitely dont quote me on that though)

Not too sure thats the case. As there HAS been about 4-5 people that got the OTA and from what they've said it's no different then the set up now. Maybe a few icon changes and the bug fixes. Which isn't too big a deal with me. Just don't understand why some are getting the OTA and most are not. In my opinon I think it was very dumb of them to post the update on their site if it isnt following through. As other device updates got theirs the EXACT same day it was posted in the site...just my $0.02 though.

1.3.380 hasn't been released to the general public yet.

It's mostly bug fixes. Phone runs smoother now and they haven't released it yet because it's going to soak test members first (like all other updates)

I haven't really noticed any differences, but I haven't had the phone for very long either. I did test the smoke live wall paper and it works

Awesome. Thats what I like to hear. Are you a soak tester? Cuz if you arent, then I would have to question that release to the public lol.

Hmm yeah that is strange. I dont think thats the reason you recieved it because you'd think they (motorola/verizon) would have let you know. But that's cool, hope you become one. I'd love to test out new builds. I'm sure I would have to learn ALOT more about these phones though. As I'm still a little bit of a noob to some of these things. From my understanding there are at least five people to have claimed they recieved the OTA. One in New York, Mass., Rhode Island, Nebraska and North Carolina. Yes, I have been on TOP of the research for this update lol.

I signed up 2 days or so ago also.

Tweeted Verizon support, they said it takes about 10 - 14 days for the updates to come through. So by what VZW says, look for ota around the middle of the month....maybe?
