Upgrade question

Currently I have the Droid 3 with unlimited data, and obviously now my upgrade isn't available until 2013. However, I can switch my parents upgrade to my line.

If I do this, will I still keep my unlimited? It's not my upgrade really.. kinda, so is that still grandfathered in?

Asking this because I'm definitely likely to get the Samsung Nexus(Droid) Prime.. especially if the rumor is true that it will come with a Quad-Core processor(assuming battery doesn't suck).

I believe so. You can go to Verizon and switch the upgrade to yours, and everything will be the same, except it will be your upgrade.

But haven't all the rumors pointed towards a 1.5gHZ Dual core, not quad core?

Alright, thanks!

And I heard it here.. his stuff is usually pretty spot on. Unless this is a different Prime?

But ya, he mentions quad core loaded with Ice Cream Sandwich as well.

yes you will.

all you do is basically use their upgrade onto your line. your data plan is tied to the line, not the phone.
