likely a dumb ?, but what is the best way to transfer all data on my sd card to a new one? i have the stock sd card and want to upgrade to 32gb. 32gb is the biggest the x will allow, correct?
Yes, 32gb is the largest sd card supported. Use the fastest connection possible, which is most likely USB mass storage mode on a usb 2.0 compliant port. If you have a micro sd to usb adapter that is usb 2.0 compliant, you can use that as well.
If you don't have the adapter, you will have to copy everything to your hard drive then transfer to your new sd card.
cool, thx. so yes, i have the micro card/usb adapter. so its as simple as removing sd from x, putting it into adapter then using windows pc to copy onto pc then copy all back to new sd card?
You can do it that way, which I think is the fastest, or you can put the old card in the adapter and connect your phone with the new card in it using mass storage mode and just drag and drop everything without going to your hard drive.
