Urgent: Stuck

I was trying to update my droid to a gingerbread from steeldroid section of ROM manager. I was using BB Gingerbread rom before doing this. Everything went fine, but it's stuck on the motorola logo. I know that you can get into recovery mode by pressing down power button and x, but I can't do this because my power button is broken. Is there any way to revert it back to the way it was? or is there maybe a way to get it into recovery mode another way?

Note: I cannot get into ROM manager, as it is stuck completely on the moto logo...it won't go past that. Also...this is the original droid.

Thanks to anyone that can offer help!

I think that without an os and without a power button you may be in serious trouble.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I actually somehow got in to recovery mode! Weird thing is...the power button still doesnt work...but I got it recovered!
Thanks again :]

If the power button is broken, you can pull the battery with the phone plugged in to the wall charger, hold X. This will get you into recovery from a boot loop.

If your stuck at the M, pull the battery, hold X, then plug in the wall charger.
