Using PDAnet, any worries?

i use tethering all the time when im at home. there's no high speed internet there so its a necessity. I download music, apps, browse the web, use messengers.... I downloaded ADB and several other things on it, even sometimes browse some youtube. If your using it moderately, I really wouldn't worry about it. Even with my use I've never had any issues with VZW.

Excessively is such a vague word.. BTW, does anyone have feedback on speed with usb tethering vs wifi tethering? Any noticeable differences?

Excessive is simple. Dont use it if you dont have to, and dont be dumb and watch Hulu for hours on end. That's excessive.

I pull down 6-9Gb a month without much tethering, so 10gb is normal.

Excessive would be 50Gb/month, which would be pretty standard for an avid computer user who ONLY tethers.

No, there's no set standard, just be smart.
