Verizon Droid X coming July 19th?

I was wondering if this phone was coming equipped with Froyo? If you look at the screen shots on the home page you can clearly see the little Android Tips Widget that comes with the 2.2 update! I'm definitely tasting a little Froyo!

I just got off the phone with a verizon wireless customer service rep and he informed me that the Droid X will be going on sale next week!

Just got off the phone with my local verizon store, the guy said he had no idea about the phone at all. I Actually had to give him the website for the droid X (phones.verizonwireless.com/droid/x/), and he was blown away lol

he went to go ask his manager about it, and the manager said that June 23rd is just the official announcement of it, kinda like what they did for the incredible, commercials go live and what not, but it should be out in a few weeks after that.

now, I don't know if this is reliable or not, this is just what they told me.

This IS interesting. if you look at the recent pics of the droid 2, it is running 2.1-update 1 and it has the tips widget also.

gorgeous phone just to big for my liking....

Draw a 5" x 4.5" box then set your Droid in it ~ not much bigger and 0.15" thinner. I wonder what it will cost...

That would be virtually a square... that's not right.

Well, it's been announced, the website has it now, and has had it =)

Thw site may be up but the official announcement is the 23rd. Again if someone has it then its a pre release edition as we have seen. expect to see some nice stuff on Wednesday with Adobe Moto and VZW all there...I think this will be a busy place indeed

The fact that adobe will be there makes me think it just might have froyo on it.

So i just ordered my Droid Incredible June5th and they said i should recieve it June 26th, someone said that you have 30 days to return the phone so can i return it before the 30 days are up and exchange it for the Droid X/cover the difference in price if there is one??
