Verizon getting worse?

I live in south georgia and I've noticed stronger signal at work. I normally have 1x service but lately I've been having 3g with 3 bars. Can it be the liberty rom I loaded?

I've tried *228 as well

I've been having the same problems for a few months now. I'm not rooted. I get about as many loss of service and Verizon wireless messages as I get droid reminders of incoming email. I get these problems in both Denver and Phoenix.

I haven't lost service but do get errors bout the web every so often. I'm just outside Phoenix and I got them on my blackberry as well.

I live in iowa. I get these errors all the time. It has gotten steadily worse. My wife gets better reception with her old flip phone. When I called verizon about it they said I should just get an older phone. Pathetic ha.
