Verizon Samsung Note 4 software update

I wouldn't say "run circles around". There are countless unbiased reviews online in which the reviewer chooses the Note 4 over the Nexus 6 simply because the Note 4 offers so much more in the way of usable features, brighter display, better camera, etc. While TW isn't for everyone, it certainly isn't the "hog" it once was.

Like I said, I own both, and the Note 4 has become my secondary device, sorry to burst your bubble, and the screen on the Note 4 is not that much better than the Nexus 6, and I could care less about a cellphone camera, also not into selfies.
And yes the Nexus 6 runs circles around the Note 4 and it's lag fest called TW.

Ugh. If they're just now getting to 5.1.1, wonder how long it'll be before the Note 4 see Marshmallow. It's still on the list to get that update, isn't it?

Thanks...And this was what took 4 months? We could already be on Marshmallow, where we can see some real change. You're the best Verizon!

On the S5, this particular update fixed a number of small issues like excessive battery drain, apps force closing, etc.
OS updates will always be released as the main number. (eg: KitKat-4.0, Lollipop-5.0, Marshmallow- 6.0) so you're typically not going to see anything different after taking said update. .1 and .1.1 related updates are always "under the hood" type improvements.

Checked for the update this morning - not there. Checked again about a half hour ago - it was there. My Note 4 is now upgraded to 5.1.1 Good things: everything seems to be still functional. It seems to be doing some things still in the background. Failures: only one so far - it failed to brick my system

So far only big thing I've noticed is instant response to recent app button. Only cleared cache. Will monitor battery over next few days
