VERIZON TECH SPILLED BEANS

I'm looking forward to the watch being "stand-alone" .. Being able to make calls and text and do what a phone does.. With some added fitness and other capabilities would be nice... I'd eventually like to see a watch that can laser project like Lenovo is teasing on a possible phone. That would rock but would require a large platform for battery alone...

There may be a few like that already out or coming soon. Most don't seem to make it very clear it has very limited functionality if not paired with your smartphone.

Some do have heart monitor and/or gps, but seems like maybe none of them are that good. And 4 gigs of storage, but not like it isn't a herculean task to load your music, anyway.

Haha, they're going to milk the tech and specs on us just like they have on smartphones. Why didn't you put in GPS - because that's how were going to get you to buy the next model!

Back to my original post, June 1has ce and gone, I still have no update so I think my Verizon tech rep was full of air.

I'll just leave this here:

Well, isn't that an interesting tweet? I think I'm going to like this! Thanks for the little present. We'll see if it all pans out.

The news appears to be very fresh.
