Don't know really but it hasn't been released yet anyways its only been successfully booted on DX so still a working progress I don't really mess with phones with lock bootloaders haha but yeah all I have done is root a d2 and install setcpu to save a lil battery for them other than that not familiar with them. I am sick with a D1 though haha playin with my kernel voltage as we speak and having fun doing it haha

I have read about kernals... but know NOTHING... want to make my phone go faster and of course save the battery and keep it cool... have read all about this... no idea what to do.... I'm such a noob....

Don't have setcpu? As far as I understand it I don't think D2's can get custom kernels because of the bootloader.

The closest thing we will have to custom kernels is tweaking the overclock on our phones. We will never have a fully customizable phone or well. "Full" root on our phone with a locked bootloader. But we can edit it and tweak but not as much as we'd like. Were at 99% and that's probably all we'll ever see.

Yeah, not fair at all. As for the Bionic comment, I would put money that there WILL be a locked bootloader. Motorola even stated via Twitter, and Facebook, that they do NOT care what we think, and our opinions etc will not make them change their bootloader policy.

So, if we do get an unlocked bootloader. That'd be a shock to me.
