Verizon Update

ok i know this may be a stupid question but i have the HTC Incredible and i rooted it and i do not want to do that update because it will hurt me root but the stupid message keeps poping up asking me to do it how can i get rid of that so i do not have to keep hiting later and it keep comming up

If you installed a custom recovery (like clockwork), accept the update. It won't run (recovery will block it), but it'll stop prompting you.

Yeah just select update and it will attempt to do it and fail then the message will go away.
