Verizon voids Galaxy Nexus Warranty on Twitter due to past tweet

It's bogus is what it is. Voiding a warranty because of software for a hardware problem. Then, they can't even PROVE he was running JellyBean. Since when is a Twitter post damning evidence? I decided to stay with VZ for the remainder of my contract instead of dropping to a dumb phone and leaving immediately, but this kind of behavior could begin to change my thinking on that stance.
 
What a garbage way to "catch" someone. Seriously, when was Twitter considered a reliable source?

pretty dumb to advertise something on the internet that you shouldn't be doing, especially if you identify yourself :icon_eek:
 
I think he'll be okay, sounds like he covered himself by saying he was flashing jb to his Xoom. I think if he made waves, Verizon would give him his warranty one way or another. Anyway, this is total bs and just reinforces their bad image.
