yep, it wiped data and cache and when it rebooted, superuser was gone

forget that last! Dloaded superuser from market and all is well. Sorry a bit slow tonight.

I had the same problem after upgrading to DL09 OTA on my rooted phone with Super Dark ROM. I was iffy about installing Adrylalyns 12/30 test kernel but I flashed it and it restored my vibrate functionality. Thanks so much for the tip.
