Its more the launcher than anything else, that blows.

And you dont need a custom rom. You can root and DIY. I apply all my mods manually.

true, i have yet to try many of them but i know the starfield one does seem to work.

They are, but they will not show up until you edit your build.prop.

In which case, some programs will stop working/disappear and no longer show up in the market for you.

What version? I believe you need 7.6 or above (except 1.0).

0.7.2 is the last one that I installed

Seems to run identically to mine at 800MHz.....1.2GHz is not giving you any advantage...as far as I've tested 1GHz is no faster than 800MHz but it is less stable. 800 seems to be perfect for now until the code is optimized more.

I just did that, and found NOTHING.

OMG.

People, read the thread. I already said you need to edit the build.prop to see them in the Market, then I even went so far as to edit a copy and tell folks where to put it.
