so how do I know which kernel to install? Aosp or Sense? I am running skyraiders latest rom if that helps. Thanks guys

Skyraider is a Sense rom. AOSP would be cm7, liquid, miui, omfg, xplode, etc.

what do you mean can't reduce max clock speed?

You couldn't cap the max speed to a lower setting using setcpu or anything like that. It's fixed in the latest update...sorry took so long to respond...been busy

What Stelv said...skyraider is a sense rom so use sense kernel. Only thing that matters is the wifi/bluetooth module isn't compatable between sense and aosp so I have to build one for both. They should boot on either if wifi & bluetooth are turned off, they just wont work if you install the wrong one. Nice to see a few more Nebraskans on here

V1.0 up in the OP, lots of changes...using CM source for base now, fixed the bluetooth bug. Fixed frequency scaling, added sysfs for voltage control...check out incredicontrol from the market if you want to play with them. Lots of other mods

HTC's custom user interface is called Sense. So if you are using the stock rom you are on a Sense rom. AOSP would be roms such as CM7 or MIUI.
