I dont know if this is specific to my phone but if I get about 20-30 mins of voice calls on my phone it drops my battery 20-30 percent

is anyone else experiencing this?

I would say there are a few variables that would probably differ place to place. How's your signal strength? Indoors/outdoors?

if im not on my phone my battery drains significantly more in my apartment due to it being sort of a dead spot....signal constantly changes from nothing to 1-3 bars....I know that this is why my battery drains much faster while inside

however speaking on the phone ive noticed it doesnt matter if im outside (full bars + 3g) or inside (low signal 1-3 bars)...anything over 20 mins has a big toll on the battery

make sure your screen turns off while you are on the phone.

thats a good point, normally I do alot of movin around when im on the phone so the sensor could be turning the screen on and off quite a bit

is there a way to disable that auto sensor? That way the only way the screen would come to life would be by me hitting a key?

I have mine set so that the display automatically shuts itself off after 30 seconds of not using it. It's under Settings>Display>Screen Timeout. In order to turn the screen back on I have to hit the power button on top.

my display dims after 15, but i was wondering if there was a way to keep the screen off during calls even when the sensor senses the phone has been pulled away from you
