voice texting

Like I said, activating voice-to-text on SwiftKey uses Google voice typing just like the stock keyboard, so I'd think it'd be the same either way.

SK now uses Dragon, the same dictation engine that Swype uses.
At any rate I gave it a shot. I'll keep looking for answers and hopefully will find one that works for everyone. Supposedly ios dictation is still way ahead of Androids but there's got to be a way it'll work on Android.

That's weird. They all look the same.

Welcome to the forum Barbara! Hopefully someone can help you come up with a solution. Enjoy your time here and good luck with your newfangled tech!
If anything we'll work with you to help curb your yelling. LOL [emoji6] I'm Italian as well, so I understand its hardwired into your DNA. [emoji3]
I use the Swype keyboard and I tried getting it to work with that, as well as Google Now, but no luck. You might have to download and test a few different keyboard apps or other "speech to text" type apps, like "Assistant", which is a great alternative to Google Now. Since you have a Galaxy S phone, have you tried using the S Voice option to compose your messages to see if that works?
