I am absolutely horrible at using my phone's volume controls. I miss calls and texts all the time. I do work in a library, so I'm very, unfortunately prone to keeping my phone on silent. Plus, I have sleeping issues, where even the vibration will wake me up. I don't think this makes any difference, but I'm on the DROID RAZR MAXX with an early version of Jelly Bean (it was released by accident).

I'm looking for an app that will change my volume automatically based on different conditions:

  • If I'm at work, I want it silent. I think I can achieve this through Smart Actions
  • If I'm asleep, I want it silent. I always have MyZeo open, which is a sleep monitor. I could use that as a trigger.
  • Depending on the noise level, I want my volume automatically raised. For instance, at a rock concert or loud bar, I'd like my ringer on max. Again, automatically. If I'm at home where there's no noise or at a quiet dinner, I'd like it on vibrate, or whatever the lowest necessary volume is to hear it.
Any advice on this would help. Thanks!

I was able to achieve these through Smart Actions.

Llama will do what you want
Just glancing over Llama, I can't see a way to set a decibel (dB) and automatically switch the volume based on it. This is what I need, in case I'm in a very noisy environment (bar/club/concert).
