I don't have a clue what all that means. I'm not very literate when it comes to all this. I like Volume Locker because it doesn't have that annoying pop up. What should I do to get it so that it won't change at all? Thanks.

I checked it and everything was in that order already. It's still doing it. It's letting it change from 2 different volume settings. It won't go any further but it would be nice to have it on 1 only. Thanks

Are you just changing the volume with the rocker? I'm trying to figure out how to replicate what you're doing.
The way Volume Locker works is we just store the systems volume settings. Once it changes we keep track of the new setting values and popup an alert to tell you they've changed. Upon revert, we just replace the changed audio levels with their old settings.
It's set on "no timeout". But when I push the rocker up, for instance, It'll change it to the higher volume. I'll wait a few seconds, even though I shouldn't have to, then I'll push it down and it'll go back down. I've tried it on different timeout settings but it doesn't help. I have it on "no timeout" right now.

The popup notification that shows the "volume changed" dialog I have no control over it. On the system, it will change so if you press up, it'll increase the volume. However within less than a second, behind the scenes, Volume Locker will set it back to what it was.
So, by technicality that popup that shows you the volume level isn't accurate. If you get an app which shows you your volume levels, it should show that it remains at the same volume.
For example:
I start out on volume level 4.
I press up, and it shows it at level 5.
Volume Locker will reset it to 4 behind the scenes.
I press down, and it shows it at level 3.
Volume Locker will reset it to 4 behind the scenes.
Both are great at what they do. VL offers confirm via tray or popup, or no confirm at all. The main difference is I wanted the ability to cover multiple volume settings (System, notification, etc). Also covering a lot of random use cases, such as google navigation. Also it offers a ton of features and settings. Tray notification vs popup, LED color, sound, vibrate, etc.
