My advice, get the full version of volume+ - either from his website or from the market, don't touch MusicFx, go to settings->sound->music effects->volume+

Resolved: I found MusicFX at the bottom of the list of applications. I swore it wasn't there the first time I looked... Maybe I needed to reboot before it appeared.

So, while reading through this thread I disabled the MusicFX app in Settings->Applications. Now I'm seeing weird behavior. I assumed I'd be able to easily re-enable MusicFX via the same menu, but that doesn't appear to be the case. MusicFX no longer appears in the list.

My last nandroid backup is pretty old, so I'd rather not do that...
