Vzw experiencing outage nationwide for LTE

Uhm, idk what you guys are talking about. I have a 4G phone (Thunderbolt), and my 3G has worked fine. I haven't had a problem at all this or last week... so I feel like thats more an issue with your phone than the LTE outage.
Don't even go there. Maybe if this was an issue with one person but not with this many people.

I did read something about the bionic getting an update later that is for this issue. Im sure its not the area but the phone rather (which breaks my heart). Ill guess we will see! Im still keeping this phone though!! Its fun as he'll playing Angry birds on it!

Salt Lake was down Sun evening, but appears back up late night to now, Mon morning. Primarily had 1x white bars. Its crazy how my 'smartphone' was transformed into a 'feature phone' or even a 'dumb phone' just like that. I left the house thinking, ok I need to send some texts via GVoice, lookup some phone numbers, and check my email... nope...

I can tell you that it is definitely NOT my device. I have a Tbolt and a Charge and my daughter has a Charge and all of our phones were having the same issues. You may be lucky enough to be in an area that is not experiencing any signal issues and that is great for you. However, many are suffering through this outage and hopefully VZW will fix it soon.

4G is now working but it took me rebooting to see if I could get phone to switch from 3G to 4G. SE Michigan area, just got home from a 14 mile drive from work and 4G works at home too.

3g returned for my Bionic. But it was so irritating that verizon said their system was down when in fact the iphone on the same network a foot away from my phone was running perfect!!!!! Verizon must be doing something with Android phones. They need to step up and tell the truth. In fact most of the people around me with iphones were not having any issues. But the Tbolts and Bionics were all down. Something really fishy going on

the LTE phones use a different 3G "system", any 3G only phone keeps a 3G connection during a 4G outage... 4G phones don't

Aww that sux. :(. Without going into extreme detail can someone explain why switching to cdma only on our phones will not allow any 3g data while shutting off the lte components in the phone? Is the "system" that different? But will verizon credit us Bionic owners half a month worth of lost data since our phones don't catch data up to half of the time?

4G seems to just be back in St. Paul, MN. Posting on it.

Pretty bad big red. Bad, bad. We all hope it doesn't become a habit.

Well mine has gone from bad to worse...... I have lost all 3g/4g connection on all of my 4g phones (within my family we have 2 Charges and one Tbolt) since yesterday afternoon. I have had to turn wifi on just to get my data. I really wish VZW would get this fixed.
