Although this is not an official confirmation, it's jut about as close as you can get. The Wall Street Journal just confirmed earlier rumors that Google plans to launch a series of physical Google Play Stores throughout the United States. They further confirmed the company plans to use the stores to showcase their Nexus lineup and Chromebook products. They also shared Google plans to show off Google TV and Google Glass in the stores. This is something earlier rumors hadn't picked up on yet. The WSJ couldn't confirm a timeframe for the launch of these Google retail outlets, but more than likely they will launch around the same time as Google I/O.
