BW has all sorts of clock and weather widgets. you can choose from various clock and weather skins. i think it will give you what you want...

i guess i should have realized that, since cm6 rc3 is almost 76 kb - wow...
No prob, I will add that to the list. There are a couple other image edits on RC3 that I know I want to fix as it is... But yeah, I don't see a problem in making it possibly smaller, and a tad bit more transparent... or darker... to show the timestamp a little better.
