Weather Widget HELP!

OK, maybe I'm just an idiot, but I can't seem configure Weather Widgets to work on my precious Droid. I have it downloaded, downloaded Locale and Forecast Add on. What am I doing wrong? I can open Weather Widgets and all I get is the options for it, I can't figure out how to make it plant itself on my home screen... heeeelp meeeee...

Long press on the home screen and tap to add Widgets. Choose weather widget. By the way, make sure you have an empty space on your homescreen. You can't open widgets as they are not applications.

Yup--if you have a nearly virgin Home Screen you'll be good ta go.
