This may not be the appropriate place for this post, but I figured the Modders have the best understanding of the ICS kernel and could shed some light on how Webtop 3.0 interacts with ICS. Is it technically an app, does it run in phone mode or tablet mode, would it be considered an add on to ICS like motoblur, etc...
Several people here on DroidForums have purchased Lapdock 100's during VZW's clearance sale and are now discovering how little is known about them or Webtop 3.0.

Another question we are discussing is will moto/VZW be able to obsolesce our devices through omissions in JB or any ICS updates for that matter, and how can we protect ourselves from this possibility if need be.
