Sorry to ask what I'm sure is a much asked question, but I just came back to the PE fold and installed the 9/27 toro on my gnex and am loving it so far. Do I need to do a full wipe before flashing the 10/1? Thanks.

Nah. You should be able to flash without wiping. If it starts doing funky things or gets slow you need to wipe. Wipe cache/dalvik when you flash it though.
