What Apple App Store apps do you want for your Droid?

As far as pointless apps, the zippo lighter application is already available, and I'd like to see the xray and beer applications available too. There are a lot of stupid apps on the iPhone that I'd like to have access to just because.

I really hope someone creates a REAL flashlight app that utilizes the dual LED flash instead of keeping the screen on. Otherwise, why bother?

On my blackberry, you can change the settings in camcorder mode to have the flash always on. That way you just set a shortcut to camcorder and you have instant blinding light. I'm sure this will be an option on the Droid as well. Or at least I hope so!

Yeah, that's an old trick that I used years ago with my Nokia N75 and N95, but I've had phones sinces that wouldn't allow flash to run in video mode, so that's why I hope it's a non-issue.

haha, just downloaded that.. kinda cool :)

The apps for the android software are here at AndroLib. But Apple's app store has a bunch more.. Granted, 90% of them are completely useless, and there are equivalent ones at AndroLib for the ones that are actually helpful.

But you know there are some fun ones on the Apple app store that are pretty cool.. For example, I really really really really really want a lightsaber app for my Droid.

Anybody else have a useless app that you use all the time on your iPhone or iPod Touch that you can't live without?

CNBC just released an iPhone app that is awesome. It displays real time stock quotes/live news feed/push stock alerts/ and recent video clips throughout the day..

Speaking of that app, I love the ESPN Radio app. It has the live scores scrolling across the bottom and also lets you listen to a few different ESPN radio stations. It cost a few bucks but I really enjoyed it.

Me too. I forgot to add that it also lets you listen to sportscenter updates whenever you want. If you love sports, it comes in real handy.

I was a huge fan of Shazaam. If your listening to the radio and here a song that you like but don't know the name/artist you just pull up Shazaam and it tells you all that info. Especially great if you're planning on downloading it once your at home, it saves the songs you shazaamed

Shazam is in the Android marketplace.

I would love to see UrbanSpoon come to Android. Even the widget on their site is just cool to play with. Great for the people that can't decide where to eat.

I would also love to see an XM/Sirius radio app for Android too.

I want an app that allows me to post my status to both twitter and fb at the same time. I know, I'm an addict, but I've been waiting for a BB app to do that, and there aren't any!

The only reason I carry my iPod around anymore is due to two companies.

Storm8 for WorldWar and Critical Thought for GeoDefense and Swarm (both tower defense games)

If I could get a couple of good tower defense games I'd be happy. :)
