What are my options to make my stock X look better?

Download ADW ex or Launcher Pro Plus from the market

Do these have the option to pick different icons or does it use the stock ones, is there a scrollable dock available. I seen in a screenshot (android phone) where someone had a icon with 4 smaller icons within it. I think iphone 4 has this. Ill try to find it. Should have asked when i seen it.

@ csk415: I don't know if it's quite what you are talking about but there is a widget called Multicon that will let you put up to 4 icons within 1 icon spot, and there are 4 sizes of widgets to choose from (up to 16 icons in 4 spots).

Never have been able to get Into the text clocks for some reason. Though it is a clean look.

Right now I am using york's black theme for ADW.

Is there any tips or tricks to make a replacement launcher run smoothly? Do I need to do something with my stock launcher before I run a replacement? I have read where people complain about batt drain and lag.

If your not going to use the stock launcher clear everything off of it because widgets you have running on that will slow you down and cause the lag.

Try folder organizer. Its not free, but you can change any app icon or make folders using any icon. I'm using that, with launcher pro.

Other than my status bar, my look is achievable with the stock rom: I use LPP, CircleLauncher, Clockr Evolution, and Beautiful Widgets...

@lawdogo6. Its part of GL. To make he file you go to the GL app drawer, grab a app, drag it over another app and it creates the folder. You can drag 10 apps into the folder.
