It does not look purple to me! Dark blue with a grayish blue tint. They should've made black but this is the closest thing.

I don't think so in bright sun it looks a little navy blue, but in the house its deff blue and kinda even a gun metal Grey tint to it looks pretty good way better than the white I think!

I have a Verizon 32gb model that looks more charcoalish blue/dark purple, while another family member has an ATT, that is definitely a shade or two lighter. The art also has little circles around the soft keys where they light up and my Verizon can't be seen unless the light is on.
