Is there any free program that will change the format of the videos on my CPU so I can watch them on my Droid?

Doesn't it have to be mp4 format? Really can't remember.

Any help would be terrific.

Handbrake is definitely the way to go.

I started using Magic DVD Ripper because DVD catalyst was a pain to get the lip and sound to match. However it isn't free. Got it a long time ago and forgot jt was on my PC. I set it to PSP format and I have no problems with the sound matching up with the actor's lips and it fits the screen perfectly. No black bars.

I've got The Office Season 1-5 on my phone. All episodes look and sound great.

I have not been able to get any movies to play on my Droid. I have used Handbrake to convert to mp4 format and transferred the file to my sd card. I get audio, but just a balck screen for video? Can you point me to either a convertor that will work or provide me some suggestions to find out what I am doing wrong? Thanks.......
