What does everyone do for work?

I am 20 years old in the United States Coast Guard. Im on the Coast Guard Cutter boutwell coming February as an Electricians Mates third class.

44, unemployed computer programmer. I trained my replacements to go back to India to work before being laid off in April (along with 4999 other IBMers). Spent the summer in and out of hospitals going through and recovering from stomach cancer and complications, so didn't get back into looking for work until October. I've had a couple of nibbles, but not so much so far. Most of my experience has been with legacy systems, Mainframes, but also with relational databases - but the company I worked at shuffled me around from old system to old system - yay.

27, soon to be 28 on 2/14. I work on my family farm and freelance computer jobs when needed.

I'm 28 and work for the second largest employer in Florida. I spend most of my day stocking and running inventory.....and I am almost done with my professional teaching certificate, hopefully I can get hired this summer and retire from said current employer.

44 - used to work in the semiconductor field as a compiler developer, but since Feb 09 have been writing apps for Android. Couldn't be more different than what I used to do, but I'm having a blast.

I'm a 23 yr old Independent Health & Life Agent in California. I represent ALL of the carriers, can provide any plan, and come at NO COST to the customer. If anyone is looking for health insurance, let me know. I'll get you a GREAT plan that fits your needs because I work for you, NOT THE INSURANCE companies. :) Use to be in online retail... Just not my thing after a long time.
