I'm 28 and work as a GIS specialist. Basic definiton is digital mapping, a good example is Google maps and all of the data layers available there. Most of my work involves maintaining spatial data for water and sewer utilities.

I'm Dennis, and i'll be 48 in December. I've been unemployed since April after working with a company for 27 years. While with them, I was a lead operator running machines that build printed circuit boards. Now someone in China has my job.

wow... when i started this i expected this place to be prodominatly sub 30 year olds. I always thought the majority of fellow phone geeks were younger but its nice to see such a broad age range and professions...

i thought i was going to be one of the older people here at just under 30 but i guess im wrong.
