What does your MIUI look like?

How do you get that staggered effect with the launcher dock like that? I have the same setup as you, mine are just flat across. That's the stock Miui launcher, right?

xxdalowest1xx, posted a skewed icon pack and all I did was open up theme framework and replaced the ones I wanted skewed

I really like this, very clean and minimal! I am trying to recreate it, but can't get the top portion of the Extdate (or whatever widget) to extend the gray area to hug the bottom of the clock. How do you do this?

Thanks!

Thank you! But you have to resize the widgets and also change your grid size. If you leave your grid size at 4x4 it will make a lot harder to make and you won't be able to put very many widgets. The background is gTab Simi Clock. I just made the text transparent so that its just a background.

Dj - thanks for the information, a few questions if you wouldn't mind.

Are you sure you are using gTab, I use that as well, but your clock looks like the ExtDateWidget. If you are able to customize gTab like you have it, please let me know, I just am not able to see how to increase just the numerical date and have the bar on the bottom.

Also, I still am unsure how to extend the grayish area UPwards. I know with LPP you have the widget resize tool appear at the bottom right, and it only lets you drag it down (hence, how you can cover the weather icons).

Also, what weather widget is that, Forecast Widget (Donate?). I have my grid to 7x7 and use Forecast Widget, but it doesn't look the same as yours. Also, what do you use to indicate current temperate (51 degrees?)

Finally, do you sometimes find that when you LPP resize over a widget, the widget that gets drawn over is darkened?

Sorry for all these questions!

If you could clarify this, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Yeah, no problem. If you ever have questions I'm more than willing to help out. The date is ExtDate Widget, but the background is gTab SimiClock. All of the widgets have no backgrounds. When I added them I made it so that all the backgrounds were transparent. Then I placed them where I wanted and resized them if I needed to to get them to the right spot. Then I added gTab SimiClock and made all of the text transparent so that it's just a shaded box. I place it above the ExtDateWidget and resized it over all of the widgets. Then I added the Analog Clock above it and resized it to over lap the shaded background. At first, everything will appear under the background and you can't click it, but reboot your phone and it will all appear on top from there on out.

The weather widget is Beautiful Widgets with the Buuf skin applied. I only use that and Weather Widgets(yr.no) for the weather.

The weather widget for degress is MinimalWeatherWidget. It's paid and it doesn't work that great at all. Thankfully, the app MinimalisticTextWidget can do the same thing and has many more options and actually works. It's free as well, highly recommended if you don't have it already.

And yeah, I answered that above. I answered it up there before I saw you ask but the reason they're darkened is because they're under the other widget. If you reboot it will fix it and all will be well. Add and place all of your widgets before you reboot. If you don't, some will be on top and some will be under. Sometimes you have to delete all of your widgets and start over, it takes a little patience. Hope I answered everything.

You sure did bud. I really appreciate it! I am ADD (like most of us) when it comes to skinning our droids, and I said to myself, I NEED this look.

Thanks again for all the help!

Good:) And yeah, I didn't change that often until I saw the whole widget resizing idea and now I change constantly. There's just so many possibilities. And no problem. If you need anymore help, have questions, run into problems, etc. feel free to ask. When I get home I'll send you some links of some suff. Will be later tonight though.

I wanted something a little different than all the dark themes out there. I really loved the Avalon theme when I was running that but didn't wanna port their work. So I've been working on what you see. I may release this as a theme so any suggestions you may have for changes would be appreciated and considered. Maybe there's no interest in it as a release but I'm proud of it so far.

i want this... please?
