I did it and couldn't be happier. Just follow the steps.

Droid does better than ianything.

installed .... don't see huge differences .... I mean I see icon changes... is that mostly what the theme does is change some icons? or is it that I don't see huge differences due to the fact I'm running Launcher Pro Plus?

install went just fine.... no issues whatsoever.

I know what you mean. If I figure out how to do my own theme that's the end of my free time. I use to do it for my itouch and blackberry.

Exactly. I used to do themes for a palm launcher program called zlauncher. Made dozens of themes for zlauncher. This could be fun
