I got mine directly from the Verizon store. If you want one that lasts a long time (but glares really bad), you can get the invisible shield.

I got my first Skinomi and it seems like a good screen protector, but I haven't put it on yet because the instructions say to leave the phone off for 12 to 24 hours...I don't know if I can handle that. lol

I don't know why everyone wants to use a screen protector. Nothing feels or looks better than the actual screen.

I guess they can be damaged, but I had a D1 for over a year and never got one single little bitty scratch. The screen looks just like new, even though the rest of the phone was pretty banged up.

I guess I can see it if you are carring it loose in your purse, but other than that, I just don't know.

Yeah, but the D1 has Dow Gorilla Glass ... not sure if HTC uses that.
