What is the best way to communicate with an iphone user?

I don't have unlimited text. I only pay for the basic I think 450 msgs. That's why I was looking for a client that I can text with that charges data use and not text. Since I already pay for unlimited data I would like to get rid of SMS altogether.

She is on AT&T and I'm on Verizon.

Get a Google Voice account, and use the free Txt messaging from that app.

Seconded. Let them pay for the text messages while you get them for free.
