What ROM will work with the stock verizon 3g hotspot app?

Currently I am on MIUI and can't install the mynet.apk I found. I also couldn't install it on CM7. In case you are wondering why I don't I just use wireless tether... my office will assume I don't use the service and take it away from me if there is no usage on the hotspot. I don't want to lose it.

I don't think the AOSP ROMs can use it... I may be wrong though

That's old though. I have used it with the patch since then.

noob question... but what roms are considered AOSP? Wouldn't anything other than the stock and leaked froyo/gb fit in to that category?
