What text messaging app do you use?

I ran Handcent forever on my rooted Droid. On the Thunderbolt I'm using the stock setup. I like that there is a little "send" button on the keyboard. With Handcent, I have to type my message, then hit back, then send. It's a small annoyance, but enough of one to keep from using Handcent. :(

This is EXACTLY why I don't use Handcent. I find this annoyance out weighs everything else.

Is there any other good SMS apps that are as good, but don't have this annoyance? Go SMS has the same thing =/

If you put your phone sideways, and use the full keyboard. You have a send button?

Stock SMS for me. I used to use Handcent but the more you use it, the more it becomes bloatware. But with TBOLTs memory it dont matter, really; more then enough to handle any kind of bloatware.
Stock just seems better. Handcent now looks more like eye candy.

On froyo I used Handcent only because I was having issues (like others) where some random SMS would be sent to the wrong person. I usually use stock, but now I am on MIUI, so i am using MIUI stock SMS.

Unless there a way to change the default layout. CHOMP, GO, and Handcent all have problem where when phone is sideways, full keyboard, you have no "Send" button. Until you go back or turn phone vertical. Unfortunately this is a deal breaker for me. Stock SMS DOES have the send.

=/

I've never turned it sideways to text.

If you use Swype coupled with one of the third party text messaging apps, it does have the send button when horizontal (full keyboard). You can download the beta on their website for free.

Do you not have the send button next to the text input window when turned sideways? And portrait layout leaves the send button in view. Of course this is the case with my D2G and my D1
